Smooth, Refresh, and Rejuvenate – Say Goodbye to Wrinkles and Fine Lines at Foothills’ Tox Bar in Littleton, CO.
What to Expect from Your Treatment
Neuromodulators like Botox®, Dysport®, and Jeuveau® work by gently relaxing targeted facial muscles. By blocking the nerve signals that cause repeated muscle contractions, they soften areas like frown lines, forehead creases, crow’s feet, and smile lines. This not only smooths existing wrinkles but also helps prevent new ones from forming, leaving you with a refreshed, natural look.
At Foothills Integrated Health & Aesthetics, our injectors are professionally trained and certified, focusing on natural, refined results tailored to your goals. No consultation is required — you can book your appointment and start enjoying results right away.

Botox is the most well-known neuromodulator. It’s FDA-approved for a variety of medical and cosmetic uses and trusted by millions. Results typically appear within 10 -14 days and last around 3–4 months. It's a great all-around option for smoothing fine lines, especially in the forehead, crow’s feet, and frown lines
-
Dysport® “kicks in” quickly—often within 2-5 days. Some patients find it gives a softer, more natural look. Like Botox, effects last about 3–4 months, but the quicker onset can be a major perk for people looking for faster results.
-
Daxxify® is the newest FDA-approved neuromodulator and is known for its extended longevity—lasting up to 6 months or more for some patients. It uses a unique peptide stabilizer instead of human or animal byproducts, making it a good choice for clients looking for a vegan-friendly, long-lasting solution.
-
Jeuveau® Nicknamed “Newtox,” is FDA-approved exclusively for cosmetic use. It’s comparable to Botox in onset and duration (around 3–4 months)

Before Your Tox Appointment
Avoid Blood-Thinning Medications:

Inform your provider if you are on any blood thinner medication prescribed to you by your provider so appropriate precautions can be taken.
Limit Alcohol Intake:
Avoid consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Alcohol can thin your blood, increasing the risk of bruising.
Avoid Supplements That Thin the Blood:
Refrain from taking supplements such as fish oil, vitamin E, Ginkgo biloba, and garlic supplements for about 5-7 days before your appointment.
No Chemical Peels or Microdermabrasion:
Avoid any chemical peels or microdermabrasion at least 1 week before your Botox appointment to reduce the risk of irritation or sensitivity.
Stay Hydrated:
Make sure you are well-hydrated before your appointment. Drink plenty of water leading up to the day of treatment.

What to expect during your appointment
Consultation and Discussion:
Before the treatment, we will discuss your aesthetic goals and review your medical history. We'll also evaluate your facial muscles to determine the best placement and appropriate dosing for the injections.
The Procedure:
The actual injection process is quick, usually lasting 10-15 minutes. We will use a very fine needle to inject small amounts of Botox into the targeted muscles. The discomfort is minimal, often described as a slight pinch or sting.
Minimal Downtime:
Botox requires little to no downtime, and most patients can return to their daily activities immediately after the treatment. You may experience slight redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites, which typically resolves within a few hours to a few days.
After Your Tox Appointment
Post-Treatment Care for Optimal Botox Results
Avoid Touching or Massaging the Area:
Do not rub, touch, or massage the treated areas for at least 4 hours after the treatment to avoid spreading the Botox to unintended muscles.
Stay Upright:
Keep your head upright for at least 4 hours after the procedure. Avoid lying down or bending over during this time.
No Exercise for 24 Hours:
Avoid strenuous exercise, heavy lifting, or any activities that could increase your heart rate for 24 hours after the treatment to reduce the risk of bruising and swelling.
Avoid Heat Exposure:
Avoid exposure to saunas, hot tubs, sunbathing, or intense heat for 24-48 hours after your appointment, as heat can increase swelling and bruising
Results Timeline:
You’ll start to notice the effects of Botox within 3-5 days, with full results appearing by 10-14 days. The effects typically last for 3-4 months.
